Lalaland sits in the enterprise band, priced by quote. Everything else in the table is self-serve, which is the main change for a team moving off an enterprise contract.
| Feature | Lalaland | NotShot |
|---|---|---|
| Commitment model | Enterprise SaaS: annual contracts, monthly minimums, procurement-led onboarding. | Self-serve pre-paid credits. No annual contract, no minimum. |
| Time to first render | Procurement + onboarding: weeks to first production render is typical. | Sign up + upload, first render in under 10 minutes. |
| Free trial | Sales-led: proof-of-concept typically scoped through account team. | 50 free credits at signup (≈12 renders). No card required. |
| Quality control | Account-team review on bespoke contracts; standard QA on platform tier. | Automatic AI quality judge per category. Sub-threshold renders auto-refund the credit. |
| Composable post-render passes | Variants typically generated as new renders against contracted volume. | Re-light (~⚡4), texture-tune (~⚡2), re-pose (~⚡5) on picked render, without re-billing the base. |
| Model identity | Synthetic-model catalogue with diversity-of-representation positioning. | Generate a brand-owned AI model once and reuse it across every shot, or upload your own model photo. Every output keeps that model's identity. |
| Diversity of synthetic models | Public investment in diverse representation (body shapes, skin tones, demographics). | You generate the models you need and keep them as brand-owned models, or upload your own model photos. No pre-built gallery. |
| Enterprise references | Named global apparel houses in public references. | Newer entrant. Public reference list growing. |
| Account management | Dedicated account team typical on enterprise contracts. | Self-serve product; email + in-app support. |
Pricing and feature claims are based on publicly available information as of October 2026 (refreshed 30 October 2026; Lalaland and CreatorKit details date from May 2026), with Lalaland pricing updated from public pricing pages in October 2026. List prices on subscription / enterprise plans typically differ from realised per-image cost depending on tier and usage. Always verify current plans on the competitor's own site before purchase.
The two-way breakdown is on Lalaland vs NotShot.
For Botika in the same table, see Botika vs Lalaland vs NotShot.
Lalaland does not publish a self-serve price. New business goes through a demo and a quote, and legacy Lalaland plans ran about €600 to 900 a month (as of Oct 2026, from their public pricing page). That is a fixed monthly commitment whether you render ten images or a thousand.
NotShot charges 4 credits per 4K e-commerce image, with no monthly minimum:
| How you buy | Price per credit | Price per 4K image | 50-image month (200 credits) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pay as you go, Starter (20+ credits) | $0.50 | $2.00 | $100 |
| Pay as you go, Growth (100+) | $0.45 | $1.80 | $90 |
| Bundle $29 / 100 credits | $0.29 | $1.16 | two bundles, $58 |
| Bundle $99 / 400 credits | $0.2475 | $0.99 | half a bundle, about $50 |
| Bundle $299 / 1,500 credits | $0.199 | $0.80 | about $40 of the bundle |
We have no published customer case studies to quote, so the table is plain math from public prices. Optional extras are priced per action: a re-light pass is 4 credits, texture 2, pose 5, an 8K upscale 3. Creating a new brand-owned AI model adds 3 credits for the model bake plus 1 for the portrait, once, and that model is then reused on every shot.
The comparison is not only price. A Lalaland contract can include an account team and a managed model catalogue, which NotShot does not offer. If those are what you pay for, the cheaper per-image number does not replace them. More on credits in NotShot credit costs explained.
There is no contract to migrate and no data import to run. Switching is mostly a matter of moving your models and garments into a self-serve workflow. These steps follow the same workflow described across our blog.
Identity handling is explained in uploading your model and identity preservation.
Agency comp cards are covered in setcard import for agency comp cards.
NotShot is not the only self-serve option. We make NotShot, so here are the others on their own terms.
The closest to a model catalogue: 100+ AI models with control over pose, background, ethnicity and age, plus team seats (5 on Pro, 15 on Advanced). Plans run from $24 to $29 a month on Lite up to $82 to $99 on Advanced (as of Oct 2026, from their public pricing page). It also offers ghost mannequin removal, a consistent model and short video.
From $30 a month, unlimited at $109, and up to 16K output on the $385 plan (as of Oct 2026, from their public pricing page). Consistent characters, video, an API, Shopify integration and C2PA content credentials.
A subscription tool from $55 a month ($46 billed yearly), about $0.92 to $1.10 per image if you use the plan (as of Oct 2026, from their public pricing page), with 4K on Advanced and AI video.
Compare it with us on Botika alternatives.
EU-based, from $9 a month at about $0.45 to $0.56 per 2K image, 4K available (as of Oct 2026, from their public pricing page), with GDPR compliance, AI Act labels, a no-prompt interface and video.
The low-cost end. FASHN runs from $19 a month for the app (about $0.10 per image) or $0.049 to $0.075 per API credit, a DIY engine with no art direction layer. WeShop.ai starts at $9.99 a month ($7.99 billed yearly), with an API; its per-image cost and maximum resolution could not be verified (as of Oct 2026).
Both sell credits that do not expire: Uwear at $0.10 per credit (about $0.30 to $1.20 per photo, $7 minimum), VModel in packs from $10 to $1,000 (about $0.12 per try-on) (as of Oct 2026, from their public pricing page).

Specific capabilities that differ from Lalaland.
How the judge decides and refunds: the NotShot AI judge and auto-refund.
Newer entrant. Smaller installed base and customer-reference list than Lalaland today. Public proof points are growing, not yet at parity.
Brand-owned AI models. Generate your own AI model once and reuse the same identity across every shot, or upload a model photo you have the rights to. There is no stock-model gallery. If your workflow depends on picking from one, a competitor with that catalogue may fit better.
Catalog photography first. The product is purpose-built for ecommerce on-model catalog imagery and pre-production design visualisation. Editorial mode covers typed scenes and two-model shots, but a full brand campaign with crew, set and location still belongs in a studio.
No video, no public API. Several tools above have one or both.

Common reason: Lalaland's enterprise contract model (monthly minimums, annual commitment, procurement-led onboarding) doesn't fit mid-market brands. Self-serve pay-per-render with no minimum (NotShot's model) lets a brand start producing renders the same day without going through procurement.
Not strictly: the workflows differ. Lalaland's enterprise model includes synthetic-model catalogue access + dedicated account management. NotShot is self-serve: you generate your own brand-owned AI models (or upload model photos) and reuse them across every shot. If your Lalaland usage depended on picking from their managed catalogue, NotShot doesn't replicate that gallery.
Lalaland is sold by demo and quote only; legacy Lalaland plans ran about €600 to 900 a month (as of Oct 2026, from their public pricing page), and realised cost depends on contract minimums and monthly commit. NotShot is ⚡4 per 4K image ($0.80–2.00 depending on pack) with no minimum, and US$0.80 to 1.16 per 4K image on credit bundles. For mid-market volume that doesn't justify Lalaland's enterprise minimum, NotShot is typically cheaper in realised total spend.
If you've been using Lalaland's customer-upload option, yes: the same photos work in NotShot. If you've been using Lalaland's synthetic-model catalogue, generate your own brand-owned AI models in NotShot instead, created once and reused across every shot.
NotShot generates AI models, but as brand-owned models you create yourself rather than a managed library. If picking from a ready-made diverse catalogue (body shapes, skin tones, demographics) is a requirement, Lalaland is the better fit. If you want your own models (AI-generated once or from your own photography) reused across every shot, NotShot fits.
Standard support is email + in-app. Bespoke enterprise account management is not a packaged offering today. For brands needing dedicated account management as part of the buying criteria, Lalaland's enterprise team is the right fit.
Sign up, upload one garment and one model, and get a first render in under 10 minutes. No procurement cycle, no contract negotiation. 50 free credits at signup means the first ≈12 renders cost nothing.
It depends on what you used Lalaland for. For your own consistent model with pay-per-render pricing and an AI quality check, NotShot. For a large library of stock AI models with team seats, WearView. For an API or unlimited volume, Modelia. For a low entry price, WeShop.ai or FASHN. For a subscription tool with AI video, Botika.
Yes. NotShot's setcard import (Beta) reads an agency comp card, detects each shot on the sheet and labels it. You review and confirm the panels, and each one becomes a portrait or model asset in your account, ready to render.
